2014 Bay of Quinte - Open Team Club event RESULTS
#1
Pretty sure I saw Dorothy and Toto sail by today...

Thanks to all who made it out today even though forecast was calling for tough conditions.

First off. Congrats to Theo & Bobby, First place and big fish. Andrej & Neil B. and Justin & Allen for finishing second and third. Well done.

Secondly, Congrats to Charles & Lauryn for successful first father and daughter team tournament! The conditions were less than ideal but Lauryn toughed it out. She even managed to land couple of decent keepers. So happy and proud for you Chuck.

Lastly, Rick told me he would de-friend me if we don't come back with 20lb sack... How can I fish with that kind of pressure? I blame my lack luster performance on Ri... lol me. Sorry Rick. Charles said we don't show GHBA guys spots as they have tendancy to burn it crisp a day before the tournament. hahahahaha jK. I totally made that last bit up...

Thanks to Uncle Rick very much for helping with the boat in and out. These 8 year olds these days - can't even back a trailer yet! Thanks to all for being so nice to Lauryn (and my wife and other daughter Sierra at weigh in). Made the event something she will very fondly remember and already looking forward to next year. You guys are awesome. Good job under tough conditions to the Ho and Bobby, Andrej and No Shame, and Justino and Bag. Justino, sorry again, I assure you it was a close race in the Cutest angler vote. You were right there... And good to see Jamie (QBA) Peter and Pat (Simcoe) Matt & Nick (NGTA) and Rick and Derrick (GHBA) out at our little event. The CBAF is like 1 big giant club of friends to me. Well - except those KL boys.

However, seeing as how Fed Cup is getting close - I do need to add the following...

Tommy, I wasn't worried so much about them GHBA boys raping Rick's mind for spots and torching the water before the event (you've seen their results right? They ain't torching anything but gas money!) I was just worried about them beating the surface to a froth with their pink hula poppers on the day of the event using their only fish finding technique - SURFACE SCAN - to find a Mississauga or Simcoe boater and MOOCH! lol

See you in a week or so.

Terrible wind but great turn out for a fun event! Congrats to Theo and Lucky Bobby! Next team event, I call "Dibbs" especially if it is a "Deep Weeds Bite" in 8-13 feet!

Very cool to see Charles and duaghter team senkoing it up! Nice to see Milo and his son and other CBAF members participating too!

This summer has flown by. I hope the weather stays warm and winds stay for this weekend and beyond so we can get out for some Erie Hawgs next!

Thanks Tommy for the fun prefish, organizing the even, setting up scales and all the TD weigh in duties!!

Thanks for the fun. Good to see you guys!
I would like to thank Pro Advantage Sports and Hobbies, Shimano, St.Croix and my wife for their continued support.

The back of the boat is my home!
