Lake St. John - Info & Directions to Ramp
#1
OK, we are going out of the public ramp - water level is up so we should be fine, but you are welcome to launch at Myland and come down by boat.

Hours: 7-3, 1 flight

5 fish limit

If you are planning on fishing a senko - please wear a hot pink shirt and a ballet tutu so we can recognize you from afar.

All standard CBAF tournament rules apply.

To get to the public ramp, go up to Orillia and go towards the Casino. After you pass the casino look for Longford Mills Rd and turn right. You will see the public ramp on a small road forking off to the left. The parking is always tight there so we ask non-boaters to car-pool if at all possible and if you have to drive, park far enough to leave the boaters room to park their rigs.

To get to Myland, go up the same road a bit further until you pass over a train track. You will see a fenced off driveway right away on the right and then the next entrance is Myland. There was no sign the last time I was there. The ramp is steep but concrete and there is a dock and plenty of parking, but they charge $15 per.
