Was a tough, brutal day out there for the 9 teams braving the rough conditions on St. John. Started off dark and cloudy and windy. Got sunny and less windy as the day went along. All day long the fishing was brutal. But someone always gets them and that someone is usually Scott.
1. Team Murison (Scott and Brandon) - 15.90
2. Team AussieAussieAussie (Theo and Conner) - 14.46
3. Team Diamante (Vito and Daniele) - 14.32
4. Team Pear (Charlito and Shuwera) - 12.90 (I would like to state for the record that Shuwera did indeed catch a fish - just not the 3 big giants we needed that he lost due to a hook set borrowed from the golden girls)
5. Team Beauty Sleep (Markus and Bobby) - 12.16
6. Team Caruana (Ray and Matthew) - 7.18 - great job Matthew - youngest ever competitor in a Mississauga clubbie!
7. Team Senko (Taliban and Nick) - 5.16 (hurts when it's too windy to throw the senko don't it Alex? lol)
8. Team MJ (Dwight and Ghetto Child) - 4.84 (they were the one team to not complain about a lack of weed anywhere)
9. Team PhJapanLure (Patrick and Helen) - 3.27
Great job to the teams that figured them out on that shi... tough lake. That hole is done and can probably be safely paved over tomoro with no bass being harmed in the process. We'll try to do another fun one later this year on Sparrow lake. Thanks to everyone for being patient and understanding as I ran around in a general state of confusion - f-ed up the payouts - got corrected - and still wasn't sure what happened by the end but pretty sure it was somehow Shuwera's fault. Team MJ - I owe you $10 as we didn't do big fish because - well - becuz I forgot...
