Launch Location: Longford Mills Road Launch   https://maps.app.goo.gl/iuEW9SspKYNLtwQp...eview.copy (please ensure you get help launching your boat to avoid the exposed boulder)
Time: 7:00am to 3:00pm gentleman’s start lines in at 7am. Must be at launch by 3:00pm for weigh in.
Entry Fee: $140 includes big fish (paid by co angler)
Greedy Bucks: $20 (paid by boaters only)

CBAF Joint Event 2 - Balsam Lake Saturday July 6th

Tournament Location:  
Rosedale Public Launch

For this year's events, please note the following:

1) Entry fee is now $150 per team
2) We will be doing trickle start in order starting at 7:00 am.
3) There will no longer be any solo anglers allowed to fish CBAF events. In cases where unforeseen circumstances require it, one CBAF executive will be allowed to fish solo. Please contact John or Justin for additional details on this matter. 
4) We will be doing Team Draw event.  Teams will be drawn at random across the entire CBAF. Best efforts will be made to find partners as needed.
5) You must be signed up on this thread by 6:00 pm on July 3rd. Teams will be drawn that night
6) Non Boaters - Please send email transfer for $150 to: cbafontario@gmail.com  (Please also put your team name in the email transfer memo line)
7)  All boats MUST complete On The Water Boat Check. After boat check, boats will wait for trickle start at 7:00 am and must wait for their boat number to be called to blast off. 
8) All boats will check in before 3:00 pm and stage out in the lake. Anglers will be called up in small groups to weigh their fish. Anglers to use CBAF bags only. Fish will  be returned to the team to release out in deeper water immediately.
8) Big Fish Prize of $250 will be courtesy of Mike Knapp Ford
9) Raffle Prizes will be drawn at the conclusion of the weigh in, please stick around after weigh in.
10) Payouts and results will be made electronically the following week
11) All Teams can weigh if they are looking to earn points for the 6 Angler and 6 Co-Angler payouts to fish the Regional Semi Final Sept . 20th - 22nd 2024.
12) AOY and Co-AOY will be based on best three finishes out of 3 joint events and Fed Cup.

We had heavy rain and thunderstorms through the night and early this morning. Thankfully the storms moved off and bluebird skies prevailed to kick off our 2024 season.

The 2024 Mark McKeown Memorial Perch Tournament takes place on Sat. April 20th on Lake Simcoe out of Sibbalds Point Provincial Park. Mark was a long time member of the CBAF, a good friend of our club and an original members of the Simcoe Bass Anglers. He loved fishing, his club, the CBAF and especially Perch Fishing on Lake Simcoe! Please see attached a registration form and a copy of the rules! We hope to see some more CBAF members out for thsi event!
